Every Woman Works provides women with the structure, tools, and environment necessary to build a spiritual foundation, develop family leadership, gain financial independence, and cultivate personal growth.

We do this through two key programs:

BEEs Program

Every Woman Works Bees program is a holistic, comprehensive 5 or 7-week training program that addresses women’s spirit, soul, mind, and body to ensure their success.

BEEVets Program

Every Woman Works VETS addresses the needs of women that have served in the various branches of the military.

Our core programming includes training on Life Skills, Job Skills, Health & Wellness, Financial Empowerment, Job Placement, and Job Retention Coaching.

For 17 years, we have been able to empower women in our hometown of Atlanta but now have expanded globally through the use of technology. Read Brenda's story below to learn more about how we help women succeed.

Brenda’s story

“I remember taking my first drink at five years old. This was to start a dangerous

pattern for her for many years.” Growing up

Brenda lived with many different families.  This

created an unstable world for her.

After graduating from high school she was

involved in several unhealthy relationships and

eventually had six children.  She tragically

lost her daughter at the age of four. At times in

her life she was homeless, living under a bridge.

“Being a homeless mother is so hard. You

have to care for your children, try to find

a job, find a place to stay…. all at the same

time.”

After years of shelters, homelessness, and

drug and alcohol abuse, Brenda found her-

self in a hospital.  “I was hopeless. I was at rock bottom. I called my pastor. I

surrendered.”  Brenda went to treatment

and was then accepted into Every Woman

Works and everything began to change.

“I connected so closely with my fellow class-

mates and the staff.  They always listened

when I was feeling down and they never

judged me.   In class, my teachers showed me how talented I really am. I realized that I had skills!”

“Every Woman Works gave me hope.  They believed in me and told me that I was worthy

and loved.  I love EWW for giving me my smile

back.”

Since graduating, Brenda has been accepted into

a 25-week internship, Higher Hope, with Randstad.

“I know that I will do well in this internship.

I just know it!  I have HOPE today and so much to

look forward to.”

In five years Brenda wants to be a homeowner, have a degree or certification in Human Resources, and be working in a job that she loves.  “I hope to be in a position one day to give back – give back to women who are homeless or living with an addiction.”
