Every Woman Works, Inc.

Every Woman Works helps women who have dealt with and are currently dealing with joblessness, homelessness, sex- trafficking, domestic violence,  addictions,  Veterans'  who are re-entering the workforce, and individuals formally incarcerated. 

Every Woman Works is a ministry that provides  Public Health advocates who specialize in Trauma & Behavioral Health.  We believe employment is the stabilizer that helps to move women from dependency to self-sufficiency.  The women we serve transform in such a way that it is both amazing and humbling to watch.

Every Woman Works (EWW) was founded in 2004 and has served over 2,300 women and positively impacted the lives of over 6,900 children. Recognized as a nonprofit 501 c 3 organization, Every Woman Works empowers, educates, and prepares women to seek and retain gainful employment. At-risk women are transformed from dependency to self-sufficiency. With a success rate of 98% who graduate and secure employment and 97% sustaining employment beyond six months, EWW transforms lives and produces a strong return on investment by reducing the percentage of people receiving public assistance, while strengthening families with higher wages and increasing the tax base in local communities.

This transformation is accomplished through the Every Woman Works’ BEES program, a six-week comprehensive program in which our clients are provided the tools, coaching, training, and education necessary to sustain self-sufficiency. We inspire women to envision and begin the journey of realizing their best selves.

The Barriers
EWW recognizes that debilitating barriers such as homelessness, domestic violence, and substance abuse, long periods of unemployment, extenuating circumstances such as lack of education, single-parent households, and limited access to child care, and cycles of dependency, such as lack of life and job skills that exist and prohibit success in the lives of many women. They need the safe non-threatening, supportive environment provided at EWW to begin the intense work of rebuilding their lives.

Life was hard enough before the spread of COVID-19 upended many lives. Now, it may feel like an endless struggle to pay bills and keep food on the table. We expanding our service to help with a comprehensive totally online training program. At the end of the program, students have stellar resume and interview skills to secure employment and keep it. We address their spirit, soul, mind, and body to ensure their success, even during a pandemic.
