Who are we?
DiversiTea Divas began when two friends, both new attorneys, found themselves navigating workplaces without the guidance they had hoped for in law school. They invited seasoned professional women to an informal tea gathering with undergraduate students who were seeking insight on careers in law, education, and public service. Demand grew quickly.
In 2019, Michelle Craig transformed the original tea gatherings into a nonprofit and launched DiversiTea Divas’ flagship event, the Legal Tea Talk. DiversiTea Divas has now served over one thousand young women, guided by more than thirty mentors in law, education, human resources, finance, and engineering. Participants have never paid an admission fee, and attorney mentors earn continuing legal education credit, ensuring mutual benefit for students and professionals alike.
