MH Boxes: Every Box Brings Hope

MH Boxes is a Black-led, youth-powered nonprofit founded by Mila Henry and her mom, Carissa, after Mila shared her own experience struggling to access mental health resources as a pre-teen. Their story inspired a mission to make sure young Black girls feel seen, heard, and supported through care packages filled with self care items, mental health resources, and encouragement. As our campaign says, “Black girls don’t need to be ‘fixed.’ They need to be heard, believed, and supported.” Research showed the need, our community created the solution, and your support helps us reach even more girls with hope and care.
