OUR YOUTH. OUR CULTURE. OUR JOURNEY

The Children in CADDC's dance program are preparing for a 10-day cultural journey to Ghana, West Africa, in late 2027. This experience will allow our youth to learn, serve, perform, and deepen their connection to the traditions of West African drum, dance, music, and culture. Your support will help offset the costs of travel, lodging, cultural education, meals, program supplies, and community outreach.

During their journey, the youth will: 

• Learn through daily drum, dance, and cultural song classes. 
• Serve through community outreach at a village preparatory school and maternity ward.
• Grow through evidence-based Social Prescribing practices that connect youth to activities, relationships, and resources that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
