Empowering Single Mothers

I’m raising funds in support of the Pickney Foundation this Give 8/28.

Single mothers carry the weight of their families every day,  often without support, rest, or access to the resources they need. The Pickney Foundation is working to change that by providing wellness-centered programming, essential resources, and a supportive community for mothers in the Greater New Orleans area.

Through programs like Pamper & Prosper, they create a safe, judgment-free space where mothers can pause, receive care, and begin to recharge, mentally, emotionally, and physically.

For many of the mothers they serve, self-care isn’t a luxury, it’s necessary for survival and stability.

Every dollar raised goes toward:

• Wellness services (like massages and facials)
• Care packages with essential items
• Expanding programs to reach more mothers and families

Here’s what your support can do:

• $25 provides essential care items
• $50 supports a wellness experience
• $100 sponsors a full experience for one mother
