High School Tea Talk
DiversiTea Divas is looking to expand our flagship Legal Tea Talk event for undergraduate students to high school juniors and seniors. The High School Legal Tea Talk will mirror the structure of the original, offering young women intentional care, mentorship, and access to professional and cultural experiences as they prepare for their next steps
The primary purpose of the High School Legal Tea Talk is to equip young Black women ages 17–24 with mentorship, skill-building, and cultural access as they pursue professional careers. Mentees will have access to one-on-one mentorship, professional development sessions, cultural experiences, and networking opportunities.

“Attending the DiversiTea Annual Tea reminded me I do not have to change who I am to succeed. I bring perspective, resilience, and purpose, and I am not doing this alone.”
Hanna Espy, 2024 Internship Recipient
"Being part of DiversiTea was such a valuable experience. It created a space where I felt seen, supported, and empowered to grow not just professionally, but personally. Connecting with others who share similar backgrounds and goals helped me feel more confident in pursuing law, especially in a field that often felt intimidating."
Jaliyah Webber, 2025 High School Intern
"Getting the opportunity to attend the Legal Tea Talk last year was a great experience for me! While attending the tea, I was pleasantly surprised to win a scholarship. I am so grateful to have gotten this opportunity and I can't wait to attend this event again in the future!"
Angelica Pickens, 2022 Scholarship Recipient
