August 1, was the start of the 2021-22 fiscal year which is our 17th fiscal year. We are so excited for another opportunity to "unveil potential through exposure" for youth. Out of abundance of caution, because we are still in the midst of a global pandemic, for the first few months of this program year, we will host our programs virtually.  We are so excited through our Experimental Design Program to launch our Tick Tock STEM program that teaches teens how to communicate STEM on social media. In October, we will resume our STEM Journal Club for Metro Atlanta teens in partnership with Morehouse School of Medicine. Our Math and Science Career Academy will resume our STEM in the City workshops and Teen Science Cafes this month, our Instagram Takeovers in September and host our DMV STEM Career Fair and National Chemistry Week Celebration in October. In the 2020-21 program year, our Math and Science Career Academy hosted over 38 virtual STEM events in which over 58 STEM professionals and graduate students exposed over 4100 youth and their families to over 70 STEM career paths. In the 2020-21 program year our Experimental Design help almost 30 teens cultivate their skills as STEM Researchers through our Experimental Design Online Course and STEM Journal Club. In June, we launched our STEM Literacy Program the put books in the hands of over 132 students and one of our partner elementary schools and gave 13 Metro Atlanta elementary schools a $300 donation to purchase STEM books for their school libraries. We also provided youth in a literary desert in Atlanta access to over 100 culturally relevant STEM books by donating books to a community free library. We can continue the great work from last fiscal year, this fiscal year with your financial support, so please donate to this campaign and/or spread the work to your network about this campaign.
