August is Black Philanthropy Month, and this year, Sisters United is standing tall in the movement to close the giving gap and uplift black women across Virginia and beyond.

For years, black-led nonprofits have done transformational work with limited funding, yet we continue to show up, serve, and heal our communities. Sisters United was born from that same spirit: a sanctuary for women to rebuild, reconnect, and rise.
