Is your organization fiscally sponsored OR a local chapter/program/affiliate of a larger organization?
You will need to work directly with the Mightycause Support Team to create a unique organization page for your fundraising efforts that is separate from your fiscal sponsor or larger organization.
To start the process, look for "Can't find your organization?" at the bottom of the registration form and click "Create it now." The Mightycause Support Team will follow up with you to get the process started and collect any documentation required for your organization page setup. Once your organization page has been created on the platform by the Mightycause Support Team, you must then return to this page and complete the registration form, searching for the unique organization page that was just created for you.
Important! You should only register your fiscally sponsored org page or your local chapter page, NOT your sponsoring org / larger org. For questions, please reach out to the Mightycause Support Team at support@mightycause.com.
To start the process, enter your organization's EIN into the registration form search and select your nonprofit in the results. Please be sure to double check that the EIN and Nonprofit legal name are correct before proceeding with answering the registration questions!
Your registration request will be automatically assigned a pending status. Once the Give 8/28 team reviews your registration requests and determines you are eligible to participate, you will receive an email notification informing you that your organization has been approved. All registration submissions will be reviewed within 72 hours.

The Association of Black Foundation Executives (ABFE) defines Black-led social change as those organizations with a predominantly Black board and executive leadership, staff leadership, and constituents — if relevant — and whose primary organizational purpose is to work to build the political, economic, and/or social power of the Black community. So, “Black-led” is about the demographic makeup and racial identity of the leadership as well as a political purpose of building power to ensure that the Black community thrives.
To participate in Give 8/28, we require that at least 50% of the leadership, board, AND staff are Black, thereby accurately reflecting and being fully equitable to the population you serve.
You will need to agree to these terms in the form below, and provide a breakdown of the demographics of your organization.
