Organization Overview

The Hidden Halo Foundation is a Charlotte, NC–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on the belief that everyday acts of compassion can transform lives. Born out of decades of grassroots community work, we serve unhoused students, their families, and veterans by removing daily barriers to dignity, stability, and comfort.

Our core initiatives directly address the physical, emotional, and social challenges faced by vulnerable neighbors:

• Season of Halos: Sponsor a Child for Christmas — Volunteers and donors shop for unhoused children using personalized wish lists, delivering thoughtfully selected gifts wrapped with love to ensure every child has a reason to smile on Christmas morning.

• Threads of Hope: Clothing Drive — Gathers new and gently loved garments year-round for unhoused children, their families, and veterans, offering physical comfort, warmth, and a restored sense of confidence.

• Kits of Hope: Everyday Essentials Drive — Collects and packages essential hygiene items and daily necessities—including toothbrushes, deodorant, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and laundry supplies—to lighten the daily burden for unhoused veterans and children.

• Bags of Hope: School Supply Drive — Collects and distributes individual school supplies, sanitary products, and nutritious snacks from a carefully curated list so unhoused students step into the classroom prepared to learn and ready to thrive.
