Sisters Empowering Each Other

We believe communities should serve those in need , empower, and lift up one another. Sisters Empowering Each Other provides full-sized personal hygiene products to homeless/battered women and children.

SEEO purchases, packages and distributes to shelters and Transitional homes in the Richland/Lexington Counties which are the residence of homeless/abused women ages 16 and up including their children. There is always a NEED for personal hygiene. The packages consists of new full-size (no mini or trial size) one shampoo, one conditioner, one lotion, one comb, one brush, one deodorant, one toothpaste, one toothbrush, one pack of facial towelettes, one pack of pantiliners, 2 shower caps, 2 bars of soap. We place all inside a clear 2 gallon bag with a closure. One package per person. This package can last one person 20-30 days. In a separate bin we provide packs of sanitary napkins, children socks for boys and girls, underwear of various sizes.

Testimonials

We have provided over 850 packages to homeless/abused women and children in the Richland and Lexington county area, who resides in transitional homes and shelters. We also conduct monthly meetings to empower, uplift and encourage women of all cultures and to bring awareness. SEEO has a goal to increase our funding so that we may increase our efforts in the community.
