Jane Place Neighborhood Sustainability Initiative

Jane Place has been working on behalf of New Orleans renters and to develop permanently affordable rental housing for over 15 years! As a community land trust and housing rights organization, our goal is to transform unjust housing policies and practices by engaging in strategies that create permanently affordable rental housing, advance tenant rights, and uphold equitable housing patterns and land-use planning. We do this through three pillars of work: 1) building permanently affordable housing, 2) building community power to fight for housing rights, and 3) community centered advocacy based on independent research.
