Women in Power Empowering is more than a giving circle—we are a movement of Tarrant County Black women committed to removing barriers and creating opportunities for women to rise. Our mission is simple but powerful: provide the financial resources and awareness women need to overcome obstacles, reclaim their power, and thrive.

Through our Business Empowerment Award and Women Impact Grant, we deliver critical support to:

• Small, women-owned businesses striving to grow

• Micro-Nonprofits serving women and girls in crisis

• Micro-Nonprofits founded and led by Black women for capacity-building support

• Women pursuing professional certifications or their first degree
  
  

Our Impact

• $18,239 awarded too assist women in overcoming temporary hardships and to pursue professional development opportunities to increase their earning potential. 
• $16,500 awarded to micro-nonprofits serving women and girls in crisis
• $10,100 awarded to small, women-owned businesses for operational support
• $9,855 in sponsorships and donations to similarly aligned initiatives that empower our community and women

In 2026, we awarded $14,000 in grants to micro-nonprofits, women-owned small businesses, and women pursuing professional certifications. Your donation will support our Women Impact Grant to will help to increase our giving power. Your co-investment will help to plant positive seeds of change in the community and the lives of families.
