The mission of Second Chance-Last Opportunity is to empower individuals in crisis by providing them with essential skills and tools so they can manage their lives more productively.

Our vision is to serve as a gateway to hope for individuals who want to change their lives for the better.

Dr . April Glasco opened Second Chance-Last Opportunity (SCLO), a hands-on intervention center, in 1995. Since then, SCLO programs have grown to include life-management and parenting skills training, counseling, mentoring, HIV-AIDS education and counseling, summer/after-school youth programs, food, clothing and shelter referrals, and meals/food distributions.

Her life-management training programs have transformed lives by restoring and building healthy relationships between parents, children, couples, family members, and friends.

Today, April continues to reach youth, women, and men seeking and needing a second chance by helping to change, rebuild, renew, and reset lives.
