Ryan Cameron Foundation Inc. (RCF)

Created in 2002, the Ryan Cameron Foundation (RCF) is dedicated to cultivating today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders through service. Our yearly programming provides youth with resources and tools that assist in their transition from childhood to adulthood. Our efforts support bridging the gap for indigent populations, majority who are minority, underserved, at-risk, and lack resources in the Metro Atlanta area.

As we continue to navigate during the pandemic, RCF has pivoted to virtual programming for our signature programs, the Ryan Cameron Foundation Leadership Academy (RCFLA) and the Passport to Health Initiative. 

The Leadership Academy is a life changing eight-year program for teens. During the high school phase, youth master a curriculum designed to enhance and cultivate their academic, life, and leadership skills. Upon transitioning to college and/or trade school, the focus is implementation and self- accountability. RCFLA's overall goal is to empower youth and young adults to become trailblazers and leaders in whatever path they so choose. 

Through our Passport to Health Initiative, RCF empowers youth and adults to make healthier lifestyle choices through education and advocacy. This initiative focuses on fitness & nutrition education (specifically K-12 schools for in-school and after-school instruction), resources tailored on wellness screenings, and self-care with emphasis on mental health. Our overall goal through programming is to inspire a culture of wellness in school settings and throughout the local communities that we serve.

How will your donation be used? 

• Distribution of COVID-19 supplies to schools
• Hygiene kits to families in need 
• Virtual fitness, nutrition, and health classes for youth and adults
• Monthly virtual training classes for RCF's Leadership Academy (high school)
• Support for scholarships to RCF Leadership Academy graduates attending college or trade school (ie. book fees, technology needs)
