Fortitude Foundation, Inc.

Fortitude Foundation, Inc. was established in May of 2010. This 501©3 organization located in Columbia, South Carolina was formed to support community-based organizations in their efforts to transform lives and impact the community. The board is run by 11 African American women with unique experiences, expertise, and backgrounds. Currently, the Foundation contributes financial resources for programs, projects, and in particular, scholarships. Through its efforts, the Foundation provides information and resources that promote a high standard of living among the residents of the community it serves. Fortitude Foundation, Inc. exists through financial contributions from board members, community members, corporate/civic organizations, and grants.
