Anderson Outreach

Anderson Outreach exists to empower vulnerable youth whose parents have involuntarily or voluntarily relinquished their parental rights.  We consistently provide resources and programs that support their educational, emotional, mental health and personal well-being.

All funds raised directly support youth empowerment programs, and initiatives for youth transitioning in and out of care. Through these initiatives, we help ignite hope, strengthen confidence and resilience.  Your support helps our youth know that they matter.

How you can help:

Sponsor a Child Through Equine Therapy

Our 10-week Equine Therapy program gives youth a safe, supportive space to process grief, abandonment, and difficult emotions through guided interactions with horses. Each session helps children build trust, confidence, emotional regulation, and healthy coping skills while learning that they are worthy of care and connection.

Sponsoring a child for 10 weeks can be life-changing. Your support provides more than therapy—it gives a young person consistent encouragement, a safe place to heal, and the opportunity to develop tools they can carry with them for a lifetime.

Sponsor a Child Through the Performing Arts

Our Live Performing Arts program gives youth the opportunity to experience inspiring productions such as The Wiz and The Lion King, exposing them to creativity, culture, music, storytelling, and possibilities beyond their current circumstances. For youth who have experienced loss, abandonment, or difficult life situations, a live performance can provide a temporary escape while opening their minds to hope, imagination, confidence, and a brighter future.

Sponsoring a child to attend a live performance can be life-changing. Your support gives a young person an experience they may never otherwise have—a chance to dream, laugh, be inspired, and see a world filled with possibilities. The arts remind them that their current circumstances do not define their future.

1. Luggage Initiative

We provide youth transitioning in and out of care with personalized luggage filled with essential hygiene items and therapeutic tools. This initiative restores dignity, provides comfort, and reminds youth that they are seen, valued, and supported—even when they have no family to help them through the transition.

2. Celebrate Initiative

Every child deserves to feel remembered and celebrated on their birthday. Our Celebrate Initiative provides youth in residential treatment and care with a personalized birthday cake and gift, creating a meaningful moment of joy, connection, and belonging during what can otherwise be a difficult time.

3. Youth Empowerment

Our Youth Empowerment program prepares youth to become confident, capable, and independent adults through financial literacy, cooking skills, and essential life skills. These tools help prepare young people to navigate adulthood and build a successful future as they age out of care without the support of parents or family.
