Act Enough Inc

ACT Enough, Inc. is laser focused on Empowering Communities Through Support and Resources & Building Strong Connections for Lasting Change. For 6+ years, we've honored 100+ women & men for the amazing and often unrecognized work they do throughout the community; we've registered nearly 1,000 voters and educated scores more on upcoming elections, candidates, and redistricting changes; we coordinated a massive, annual, 5 county celebration of Juneteenth that has benefitted 500+ small businesses, provided a platform for local artists, provided scholarships to outstanding youth; established and maintained a VA Department of Transportation permitted Adopt-a-Highway program for a 2 mile stretch of Garrisonville Road in Stafford, VA. Collaborated with local schools, churches and organiztions to solicit volunteers for this community service activity; established multiple food pantries in partnership with the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank to battle food insecurity (5 years and running), organized monthly dinner preparation and service at local homeless shelter and many more community service activities.
