$5,000 Goal

I am the Black entrepreneur behind the establishment of the nonprofit hospitality house in the Detroit area for solid organ transplant recipients and their caregivers, Aarolyns House of Hope.

Your support in assisting me, and the volunteers behind me, to help establish the much needed lodging option and establish Aarolyns House of Hope is pressing. The number of solid organ transplants in our Black communities is increasing each year, since my transplant in 2011.

Through my volunteer work I have seen caregivers sleeping in their cars, due to booked hotels, while their loved one is being transplanted - this is unacceptable for our brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, husbands and wives. It has become my mission to give-back and add quality care for those who do the caring.

Please browse Aarolyns House of Hope, "like" us on Facebook and sign-up for email updates to watch this project develop. Your donation will help open the door to our first transplant family by 2025.  Thank you.
