Our Mission

Sisters Empowering Each Other (SEEO) has been in existence since 2018 and we believe strong communities are built when people serve those in need, empower one another, and create opportunities for hope and healing. Our mission is to support homeless and battered women and children by providing essential personal hygiene items, encouragement, and community resources.

SEEO purchases, assembles, and distributes full-size personal hygiene care packages to shelters and transitional homes currently in Richland, Lexington, Greenwood Counties. Expanding to assist in additional surrounding counties. These facilities serve women along with their children, who are experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, or other hardships.

Each care package contains new, full-size products designed to meet basic personal care needs per person for approximately 20–30 days. Items may include shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, brush, facial towelettes, pantiliners, shower caps, soap, and other essentials. All items are packaged in a clear 2-gallon reusable bag with closure for convenience and sanitary. In addition to hygiene kits, SEEO also provides supplemental items such as sanitary napkins, children’s socks, and underwear in various sizes to help meet ongoing needs.

 Community Support Needed

SEEO depends on the generosity of individuals, churches, businesses, and community partners to continue this important work. Donations are essential to help us purchase hygiene supplies, assemble care packages, and provide ongoing support throughout the year.

With your financial contributions or product donations, we can continue serving women and children in need and expand our outreach to reach even more families annually.

Your support makes a direct difference. Every donation helps restore dignity, provide comfort, and reminds someone that their community cares. Together, we can continue empowering each other and changing lives

Community Impact

As of 2026 Sisters Empowering Each Other has delivered over 1100 Hygiene packages to shelters, transitional homes, including unhoused individuals. In addition to providing hygiene packages ,we also host monthly empowerment meetings that encourage, uplift, and inspire women of all cultures while bringing awareness. As our outreach continues to grow, SEEO remains committed to expanding funding opportunities so we can increase our impact and serve even more women, children, and families in need.
