Community Inspired Lexington

Community Inspired Lexington is a family-centered, grassroots organization built by the very community it serves.

Our mission is to provide enriching opportunities and a steady, supportive presence for youth and families in the North Lexington community. We secure the ‘village’ around youth and families through family engagement, community outreach, coalition building, resource sharing and youth programming.

Our core programs include: 

🌽 Food Pantry (over 17,188 pounds of fruits, vegetables and protein distributed since Jan 2026)

📷 Youth Digital Photography Club (7+ exhibits, 5 student sales! We also make films!)

🌞 Summer Camp (annual, 4 week 8a-5p)

🎄 Holiday Gift Shop & Family Breakfast (distribution of clothes and toys to over 250 kids)

📚 Mike Thomas & Kamaria Spaulding Memorial Scholarship (over $5,000 given to incoming college freshmen)

🌿 CommUNITY Victory Garden (est. 2021, community-based)
