StriveCLT helps families who want to improve their lives. We provide reading, digital, and financial literacy training, along with civic education, family mentoring, and networking opportunities that help participants reach their full potential and increase social mobility. We strive to help underserved residents of Charlotte Mecklenburg thrive, invest in their communities, and pave the way for new levels of generational prosperity.

From helping older adults build confidence with technology to supporting children through enrichment programs and connecting families with resources, your generosity helps turn opportunity into lasting progress.

Children’s Programs

Through our afterschool and summer enrichment programs, StriveCLT supports children as they strengthen their academic skills, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally. Students receive support with reading literacy, homework, and vocabulary development while also participating in enrichment activities, quiet and group play, and Kids Boxing. We also encourage parents and caregivers to remain connected and engaged in their children’s learning and growth.

Adult and Family Programs

StriveCLT helps adults and families strengthen the skills and connections that support greater stability, independence, and opportunity. Our programs include digital and financial literacy, GEDWorks, mentoring, civic and community engagement, and special field trips that create opportunities for continued learning and connection. Through our “Village” gatherings, families can also connect with helpful resources, community support, and one another.

Across all of our programs, StriveCLT works alongside families as they build confidence, expand their opportunities, and take meaningful steps toward greater social and economic mobility.
