The Society of African Americans Narratives Inc.

The Society of African American Narratives (TSAAN) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, curating, and expanding access to African American history through nonfiction video storytelling.

We believe these stories are not separate from American history; they are essential to it. Yet too many remain overlooked, underrepresented, or difficult to discover. Our mission is to ensure that African American history is fully integrated into our nation's historical understanding by connecting people with powerful stories that educate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversation.

Through our flagship digital program, the TSAAN Content Hub, along with educational initiatives, community partnerships, and storytelling programs, we create pathways for educators, students, families, organizations, and lifelong learners to discover trusted documentaries, films, and educational resources.

We don't simply preserve stories, we make them discoverable, ensuring that the voices, achievements, and lived experiences of African Americans remain accessible for generations to come.
