The Joy Lab Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization reimagining what leadership development can look like for the next generation.

We believe joy is more than an emotion. It is a practice, a skill, and a powerful foundation for resilient leadership. When young people learn how to build confidence, navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and lead from a place of purpose, they don't just change their own lives. They transform families, schools, workplaces, and communities.

Through storytelling, leadership development, mentorship, creative expression, research-informed curriculum, and community partnerships, we create experiences that help emerging leaders discover who they are, find their voice, and recognize the impact they are capable of making.

Our mission is to develop the next generation of joy-informed leaders by equipping young people with the tools to build confidence, resilience, emotional intelligence, and meaningful connections that strengthen themselves and their communities.

We envision a world where the next generation leads with joy, creating more compassionate, connected, and resilient communities.

The Joy Lab serves emerging leaders ages 14 to 30 through transformative programs that cultivate identity, belonging, purpose, and leadership. Whether a young person joins us through filmmaking, leadership experiences, mentorship, workshops, or community initiatives, every program is designed to help them grow into confident leaders who create positive change wherever they go.

Behind every young leader is a community that believes in them. That's why we also partner with educators, families, mentors, volunteers, businesses, and community organizations. Together, we are building a movement where joy isn't simply something we feel. It's how we lead, how we serve, and how we create lasting change.
