The Greg Bush Jr. Foundation was created from a simple but powerful belief: education has the power to change lives, open doors, and create a better future.

 Our mission is to provide scholarships and mentorships to African American students pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM). Our goal is to help talented students turn their dreams into possibilities and their possibilities into impact.

The foundation was deeply meaningful to our Founder and namesake, Greg Bush Jr. Greg was more than a successful entrepreneur and technology innovator. He was a lifelong learner who earned a master’s degree in computer science. He also had a deep love for music and played several instruments. Those passions shaped the way Greg lived and worked, and it ultimately shaped the purpose of this foundation.

He believed passionately in education, innovation, entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for the next generation. Sadly, Greg passed away in March 2026, but the vision for the foundation remains. In fact, it has become more important than ever to carry his vison forward.

Every scholarship is more than just financial assistance. It is a message to a student: “We believe in you. Your future matters. And we are proud to invest in what you can become.”
