For more than 26 years, Girl Power Rocks has served over 10,000 at-promise girls across Miami-Dade County, Flordia, guided by a single mission: Improving Our World, One Girl at a Time. From Overtown and Liberty City to Homestead and beyond, we create safe, nurturing spaces where at-promise girls ages 7 to 17 can find their voices, heal, and grow into confident young women.

Our work reaches a girl from every direction. Through After-School Rocks, the Girls Intervention Program PLUS, Sister Circle Mentoring, our Summer STEAM Workforce Training Camp, the Girls' Choir of Miami, and trauma-informed therapy for girls and their families, we meet each girl where she is, academically, socially, and emotionally, and we walk alongside her for years, not moments.

And it works. This past year, 88% of the girls in our programs grew in confidence and social-emotional well-being, and in our after-school programs most girls raised their grades, improving their GPAs by a quarter point on average. Behind every one of those numbers is a at-promise girl who now believes in what she can become.
