Exposure Project Incorporated

For six years, Exposure Project has been helping young people discover worlds that exist beyond their immediate environments. Through hands on experiences, career exploration, and meaningful connections, we help youth see new possibilities for their future and begin imagining what is possible for themselves.

A few years ago, we challenged our young people to help us build something real.

Together, we created The Slide, a youth led food truck initiative designed to give participants more than conversations about careers. We wanted them to experience what it takes to bring an idea to life.

Phase One

Through The Slide, young people have explored culinary arts, branding, marketing, photography, graphic design, customer service, and business operations. They've contributed ideas, solved problems, and helped shape a concept from the ground up while gaining exposure to careers and industries they may not have otherwise encountered.

As we enter Year 7, we believe this is the year we move The Slide closer to launch.

That's why we're asking our community to help us kickstart the year by raising $3,000 for a commercial generator, a critical piece needed to operate the truck.

When our young people return this fall, we want them to start strong. We want them to continue building, learning, creating, and experiencing what it looks like to turn an idea into reality.
